Each Tuesday at 7 p.m. is our Freedom Run. Most weeks we meet at Elm Street Taproom, 256 Elm Street in Davis Square, Somerville (but we will occasionally change locations, so check the calendar or our Facebook page to be sure). Usually we gather down the block at the plaza between Starbucks and Chipotle to start the run at 7:15. Afterward, we drink beer and eat food!
We welcome runners of all speeds. Just prior to the run, we divide into groups based on preferred distance, course and pace. You’re free to run whatever distance or route you want. Some the popular routes are described below.
Some weeks, we honor of an individual Freedom Runner, who gets toasted and drinks from the Freedom Chalice. Other weeks are themed runs.
